FFKM (CHEMRES®) perfluoroether O-ring

1.Perfluoroether rubber properties:

FFKM (CHEMRES®) perfluoroether rubber material is currently the best rubber material among all elastic sealing materials in terms of high temperature resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance, and organic solvent resistance. Perfluoroether rubber can withstand corrosion from over 1600 chemical solvents, including strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, ultra-high temperature steam, ethers, ketones, esters, nitrogen-containing compounds, hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, furans, amino compounds, etc. It can withstand high temperatures up to 320 ℃. FFKM perfluoroether components have nearly 15 years of practical application experience in many industries.

2.Perfluoroether rubber selection table:

Perfluoroether FFKM rubber raw materials to meet the special sealing needs of customers under harsh working conditions. Due to the complex manufacturing process of perfluoroether rubber, currently only a few manufacturers in the world can produce perfluoroether rubber raw materials: DuPont, 3M , Daikin, and Solvay.

According to different temperature resistance levels and raw material performance formulas, permanent core seals have the following different levels of perfluoroether FFKM materials to choose from.

3.Applicable industries:

FFKM perfluoroether rubber seals are mainly used for sealing under harsh working conditions in the semiconductor industry, chemical industry, automotive industry, petroleum industry, pharmaceutical industry, battery industry, nuclear power industry, and other industries.

4.Sealing condition application:

Due to the high cost of raw materials for perfluoroether FFKM rubber, the sealing conditions for using perfluoroether FFKM are usually extremely harsh. Other rubber materials cannot meet the sealing requirements under these harsh conditions, and other rubbers are prone to corrosion, swelling, dissolution, aging and hardening under these harsh conditions, resulting in sealing failure. Perfluoroether FFKM rubber, due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, meets the sealing requirements of harsh working conditions while increasing the service life of seals and reducing customer maintenance costs.

5.Typical application conditions of perfluoroether FFKM rubber seals include:

*Semiconductor industry (plasma corrosion, gas corrosion, acid alkali corrosion, high temperature corrosion, high cleanliness requirements for rubber seals)

*Pharmaceutical industry (organic acid corrosion, organic alkali corrosion, organic solvent corrosion, high temperature corrosion)

*Chemical industry (strong acid corrosion, strong alkali corrosion, gas corrosion, organic solvent corrosion, high temperature corrosion)

*Petroleum industry (heavy oil corrosion, hydrogen sulfide corrosion, high sulfide corrosion, organic component corrosion, high temperature corrosion)

*Automotive industry (high temperature oil corrosion, high temperature corrosion)

*Laser electroplating industry (high temperature corrosion, high cleanliness perfluoroether rubber cannot precipitate metal ions)

7.Hardness range: Shore A 70 degrees to 90 degrees

8.Color: Black,White,Amber, Dark Brown can also be specified by the customer.
