Profiles designed to fit your world.

In the dynamic world of industrial sealing, the significance of extruded shapes and profiles cannot be overstated. These versatile components play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of various sealing applications, from automotive gaskets to industrial machinery.

Extruded shapes and profiles are meticulously crafted through a precision manufacturing process that involves forcing a raw material, typically rubber or plastic, through a specialized die to create intricate cross-sectional designs. The result is a vast array of custom-tailored sealing solutions, each engineered to meet specific requirements with precision and reliability. These extruded profiles not only provide essential sealing functions, such as preventing leaks and protecting against environmental factors, but they also offer durability, resilience, and adaptability in diverse operating conditions.

Why Use Extruded Shapes and Profiles?

Customization

Extruded profiles can be tailored to your exact specifications, ensuring a precise fit for your sealing requirements. This customization minimizes the risk of leaks and enhances overall sealing effectiveness.

Versatility

Extruded shapes and profiles are versatile and can serve multiple sealing functions, from preventing leaks and protecting against environmental factors to dampening vibrations and minimizing noise.

Ease of Installation

Extruded profiles are designed for easy installation, saving time and labor costs. Their precise dimensions and flexibility facilitate straightforward assembly.

Reduced Maintenance

High-quality extruded profiles require minimal maintenance over their lifespan, decreasing downtime and associated costs.

Flexibility

Extruded profiles are available in a wide range of materials, making them suitable for various applications.

Durability

Many extruded profile materials are resistant to wear, corrosion, and extreme temperatures, ensuring long-lasting sealing solutions that withstand challenging conditions.

Proven Performance

Extruded shapes and profiles have a track record of success in a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, construction, and more. Their reliability and performance have made them a trusted choice for sealing applications.

Cost-Effectiveness

Customized extruded profiles often result in less material wastage, reducing overall production costs. Their durability also contributes to long term cost savings by minimizing maintenance and replacement expenses.

Enhance sealing performance with the versatility of extruded profiles.

Common Profiles as below:

O-ring Cord

A flexible, circular cross-sectioned extruded profile used to create custom O-rings for sealing applications. These versatile cords effectively prevent leaks and maintain system integrity by accommodating diverse operating conditions.

Hollow O-ring Cord

Tubular profiles with a circular cross-section suitable for specialized sealing applications requiring flexibility and resilience These cords are customized to fit sealing grooves, contributing to reliable and effective sealing solutions.

Trim Seals

Extruded profiles designed to provide edge protection and sealing for sharp or exposed edges in automotive and industrial applications. They safeguard against environmental factors while enhancing safety and aesthetics.

D-Seals

D-shaped profiles used for sealing doors, windows, and enclosures. They provide effective sealing, preventing leaks and protecting against environmental factors in various applications.

Explore the importance of extruded shape and profile materials and learn about common options.

For O-ring cord applications, nitrile (NBR) is a versatile option, while Viton® (FKM) excels in high-temperature and chemical-resistant environments. Silicone (VMQ) stands out for its flexibility and biocompatibility, making it a go-to choice for hollow O-ring cord in medical applications.

Trim seals benefit from materials like EPDM, known for its weather resistance, and TPE, which combines flexibility with durability. When it comes to D-seals, options such as EPDM and neoprene provide excellent sealing performance in various conditions.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
